Alix and James' London Wedding
Travelling from the Landmark Hotel on foot to an intimate ceremony at the Old Marlebone Town Hall, riding Adison Lee’s through the city to a family meal and then partying the night away with all of the best people they know, Alix and James really had the modern relaxed Wedding that dreams are made of!
Considering how relaxed Alix and James were- pandemic and all, I loved the surprise note I received when they decided to mix up their plans!
Up until not long before their wedding, plans were to have their ceremony with a small family group in 2021 and then the reception roughly a year later in 2022. I don’t know the exact thinking behind their decision (I’m assuming - “we’ve waited this long, screw waiting another year!”) but it was let’s get The Little Bat onboard for our Reception and DO IT ALL ! And It was SO worth it.

Having met on a night out… all linking back to a lampshade that Alix smashed - a tribute was paid to Alix and James’ unlikely meet with a lampshade piñata at the reception… and OH yes, we smashed it!
If clumsy mishaps lead to people looking at one another the way Alix and James do… all I’ll say is get breaking as, as far as I’m concerned, that lamp served the most worthy purpose of all lamps in this land…
